Persephone is goddess of spring and Queen of the underworld. her story begins as her a maiden daughter of Demeter and Zeus named known as kore literally meaning maiden… she was abducted by Hades using a narcissus flower planted by Mother Gaia herself, now kore did not at first want this life, but she grew to love her role as Queen of the dead… Hades called to her using the name Persephone meaning bringer of death… she was bound to come home due to her mother freezing the realms, so it was an eternal winter from her grief of her lost daughter. though she had eaten the fruit of the underworld the pomegranate… though only six seeds leaving her to come back to her mother during spring and summer and returning to be with hades during fall and winter. thus, giving her the throne. she grew to love hades though one story tells of an ex-lover of hades crossing the line and the Queen turned her into dust thus growing a mint plant from the dirt.
